Leasing with Valley Express
Valley Express, Inc is proud of the hard work, dedication, and outstanding safety record of our owner-operators and drivers.
At Valley Express, we are committed to helping our owner-operators get started, and maintain competitive miles, maximum dollars, and desired home time. We can help with start up costs for licensing and permits, cargo insurance premiums, fuel tax reporting, and advances on loads.
Important things to know about leasing with Valley Express
Leasing
There are NO up front costs in leasing with Valley Express. Can you say that about your present company? All start up costs are handled by us, and where appropriate, are pro-rated back to the owner. There are no mandatory savings accounts either, although you may set one up to cover major expenses, or to use as you see fit.
Valley Express does the fuel tax reporting for you and we compute fuel tax on a per-truck basis, not as a percentage of total fleet costs.
Insurance
You'll get extremely competitive rates when you insure through Valley Express. We share the premium costs with you on liability and cargo insurance, and you take advantage of our low fleet rates on physical damage insurance. You can also choose to keep your existing plan.
Qualifications
Each driver must be DOT qualified and approved by Valley Express, and meet all the requirements of our insurance company. Orientation is thorough and includes driver qualifications and a pre-employment drug screening. The entire process can normally be completed in two to three working days, then you can hit the road.
Revenues
Valley Express is proud to be extremely competitive on revenues paid to the owner. All our settlement costs are handled in an up front and honest manner. The gross revenue will be printed on your settlement sheet along with your percentage of revenue, assuring you an accurate and complete settlement. Ask us about rates for pulling your own trailer or one of ours.

Hi, my name is Les Voth. My truck number at Valley Express was V911 from 2005-2016 when I was forced to retire for medical reasons. Had the medical issue not occurred - I would still be running for Valley Express!
During my time at Valley Express I pulled reefers, a 35 ton mechanical detach, a 55 ton detach, various tow-aways and combinations of jeeps and double-drops. I had a total of three tractors (Each successive tractor had the same "V911" truck number.) while I was at Valley Express and switching from one tractor to the next was always a seamless administrative process.
The process of leasing on to Valley Express was as easy as any place I've ever been. Like anybody knows, switching companies can be tough. When the company you're leasing to does everything they can to make it painless - that's bonus!
When I say "as easy as any place I've ever been" just so you know - in 35 years I was leased to over 21 companies. Once we got to Valley, staying at Valley Express was a no-brainer. My wife handled our accounting and the financial end of our trucking business and when I was mad about something - she would tell me to make it right - because we weren't leaving Valley Express!
There are fewer reasons for dissatisfaction at Valley Express than anywhere I've ever been leased to, because of the variety of areas you can be involved in with Valley and the helpfulness of the people. From heavy-haul, to reefers, to dry vans, to container-chassis, to flatbeds/drop-decks and more, there are opportunities all over.
I ran 48 states and western Canada when I ran heavy-haul. I ran 48 states when I ran reefers. Then I ran California exclusively while pulling reefers. By the time I had to go home and stay there, I was running the northwest every week, pulling reefers again.
Would I lease to Valley Express again if I was physically able and bought another truck? Without a moment's hesitation! For me there is no other company to lease to!
